A new online service has been launched enabling garment decorators to quickly and easily produce hand-made vector conversions for logos and designs. The creators of www.imagetovector.com spent nearly a year developing the system, which is entirely dedicated to making vector conversions for third parties.
“As a garment decorator, if you are used to producing logos cut out using vectors you will know what is meant by the word boring!” they said.
“Being forced to outline every image has to be once of the most mundane tasks known to man - but also inevitable. Take any vector based graphic and consider the amount of time and effort it took to convert all those images.”
The new website claims to produce handmade vectors in “next to no time, at a price that cannot be ignored”.The entire process of image selection, uploading, conversion and checking, right up to the process of paying and downloading the vectorised images is fully integrated in the system and computerised as much as possible.
The resulting vector is also more accurate than a software converted one, claimed the creators.
Users must register and are allowed a free trial image to test the service. Images or artwork are then uploaded to the ImageToVector browser, selected for conversion and, by pressing ‘upload’, copied to the Imagetovector servers automatically.
