Promotional bags brand Bagbase has launched a redesigned website to better reflects its current product ranges and brand image. The revitalised site is constructed to complement the BagBase 2007 Collection brochure, with a strong focus on colourful product photography, creative lifestyle imagery, and clearly presented bag and accessory specifications.
“We have been delighted by the response to our 2007 Collection brochure, with customer feedback confirming its value as an effective reference and marketing tool. We wanted the new BagBase website to deliver the same level of functionality and customer appeal, but with the advantage of instant access from any internetconnected computer, anywhere in the world, at all times,” said brand spokeswoman Catherine Hardy.
Like the printed catalogue, the new website presents each of the 38 BagBase styles in all of their available colours.
“BagBase is all about colour – that's why we have replaced the traditional colour swatches with actual photographs, so customers can see precisely what their chosen style will look like in the colour of their choice,” added Hardy. The new site now has a database of more than 200 large, (490 x 490 pixel), product images that have been professionally colour corrected to reproduce all colours as accurately as possible.
As well as being able to view the varied colour options, visitors can select different viewing angles for products such as the new BG37 Campus Laptop Airporter. Located below the main photograph on the BG37 page are thumbnails showing the bag from the back, and also with its zippered front section open, revealing the multitude of pockets and compartments inside.
Clicking on a thumbnail replaces the main photograph with that image, to allow for detailed inspection.
The website offers standard functions, such as a Contact form, Fast Find drop down menu, (with bags listed by their product code), and powerful Search option.
There is also the opportunity for visitors to download PDF versions of the printed catalogue, in a choice of seven European languages. News and technical advice sections will be added to the site in the near future.
