Jackets are essential when the weather turns, which is all too often in the unpredictable British autumn-time. Providing something that is going to keep those who work outdoors warm and dry is a crucial consideration when planning autumn and winter uniforms. All too often, however, companies sacrifice fashion for function, or produce garments that look great but don’t do the job. Not so for Front Row – a company that claims it “doesn’t make compromises”.
Front Row’s garments are rigorously tested to ensure that they meet the required criteria, and the team of designers ensure that current fashions are consulted and market trends adhered to. Starting with men’s outerwear options, Front Row offers a couple of fleece designs in a variety of colours. The FR58 is a half-zip sheared fleece with handy side pockets as well as a right chest zip pocket, essential for keeping those everyday bits and pieces safe.
The FR59 is a fleece gilet with a full-length zip, which is perfect for workers who want to keep their body warm but their arms cool. There are two colours to choose from: navy with a white trim or black with a grey trim. Both styles are made from 100% polyester and, all-importantly, are anti-pill to prevent that annoying bobbling effect. Both styles are available in sizes S-XXL.
Moving onto the womenswear options, there are two fashionable fleeces to choose from. The FR71 is a full zip raglan micro fleece. Made from 100% polyester and anti-pill, this essential piece of outerwear has a moulded open-ended centre front zip, It’s available in sizes S-XL and in colours navy with white trim, pink with white trim or sky with white trim. The FR70 half zip fleece is made from 96% polyester and 4% elastane. “This is a very unusual composition in our market,” says Front Row, “which gives the fleece a super soft feel, and some stretch, meaning it is comfortable and flattering to wear.” It’s available in the same three colour combinations as the FR71 and comes in sizes XS, S/M and L/XL.
Brand Director of Front Row Phil Hurley says: “These fleeces are popular with all kinds of customers – from county councils wanting warm workwear, to leisure companies looking to provide outerwear for walking, horse riding or sailing. Companies already stocking up for the winter months realise the importance of being prepared for the colder weather – thinking ahead means that they won´t be caught short.”
