The first Polartec® Windbloc® Softshell combines the warmth of Polartec® fleece with a barrier layer that allows water vapour to escape. The jacket also contains spandex to allow it to stretch, moving with the body. Adding stretch is an important quality, says Premier, as softshell jackets that don’t contain stretch can feel stiff and uncomfortable to wear.

The second, GORE® WINDSTOPPER® has a tough ripstop nylon outer layer that is abrasion resistant, not only making it look good but also ensuring it is extremely hardwearing. This jacket has a thermoregulating effect, meaning that the jacket manages your own personal microclimate keeping the temperature around your body at a comfortable level.

Both jackets are highly breathable, lightweight and water resistant. They carry either the WINDSTOPPER® or Windbloc® logo for dual branding possibilities so that your customers can be associated with these well known brands.

The jackets are attractive to walkers, outdoor adventurers, golfers and skiers, all whom will already be aware of the both Polartec® and GORE® fabric brands. The jackets are ideal for screen printers and embroiderers and can be treated as a normal polyester jacket.
