Jerzees Colours claims to not only be one of the first brands in the market to have developed this soft shell technology, but says it also offers an all inclusive range with jackets and gilets for both men and women in a choice of six fun, fresh colours – black, classic red, orange, lime, sky and French navy.

Soft Shell is a fabric type made up of three separate layers (polyester face fabric, breathable membrane and a micro polar fleece backing), which are bonded together to create one fabric. The tight, stretchy weave of the face fabric repels wind and rain and creates a dense surface ideal for decorating; the membrane in the middle is the “smart” fabric that prevents the smallest drop of water from passing through whilst allowing perspiration in its vapour form to escape from the body into the environment, keeping the wearer dry and at a comfortable temperature. Thirdly, there is the fleece layer that reverse generates heat and makes the jacket or gilet soft and comfortable to wear.
