The National Incentive Show for promotional marketing, incentive and motivational products and services is aimed at those looking for innovative ways to attract and retain customers, drive sales and reward employees.
Now under the ownership of Touchstone Exhibitions and Conferences, organisers say the show is set to be a vibrant showcase of the very best the industry has to offer and features a number of new initiatives for 2007.
Sylvana Malachias, show director, said: “The National Incentive Show will provide an unrivalled networking opportunity where suppliers and buyers come together to enhance their market knowledge, hear from inspirational and thought-provoking speakers and seek innovative services and products for Christmas and the year ahead.
“Expectations are high for this show, and we are confident that the event will meet the needs and requirements of both visitors and exhibitors alike.” Here are some of the highlights:
Extended seminar programme
The seminar programme has been extended for 2007 and for the first time features four seminar theatres. Speakers will be taking to the floor from the leading trade associations the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) and the Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) as well as, for the first time, speakers from different areas of the below the line marketing industry including Point of Purchase Advertising Industry (POPAI) and the Institute of Direct Marketing.
Gordon Glenister, Director-General of the BPMA, will be looking at 21 Great New Ideas to Promote Your Business and will be previewing some of the most innovative ideas in the industry today as well as examining how to use old favourites in a new and creative way.
Matt Franks from Eco Incentives will be examining why the promotions industry is in need of ‘greening,’ why quality and choice needn’t suffer and why eco products work better.
BPMA Hot Product Zone
The BPMA Hot Product Zone is the Association's first ever showcase of the industry's latest, most innovative and marketing-leading products which will be featured on the BPMA stand. Twenty-one products qualifying for this showcase are those which have been submitted from across the broad range of companies comprising the Association's 650 members.
Gordon Glenister, director general of the BPMA said: “Innovative products are the lifeblood of our industry and what everyone wants to see – new ideas. This showcase will be a key factor in demonstrating the success merchandise has to any marketing campaign."
