Following the recent competition to win a two week holiday in Australia, the winner of the Ayers Rock prize draw was announced in December.
The winner of the first prize is Robert Townsend of Mercury North in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. Mr Townsend will be flown to the Great Barrier reef where he will spend four nights before moving on to Sydney for five nights, then finishing with four nights at Ayers Rock.
The second prize of £250 worth of Ayers Rock vouchers was won by Martin Dinnick of CPM Crafts Ltd, while the third prize of £100 worth of Ayers Rock vouchers was won by Patricia Hislop of Rostrum Sportswear.
Buyers who spent over £500 were entered into the competition and the draw was made at the recent UK Leisurewear open day. The draw was made by UKL Chairman Alan Quinn and announced by Ayers Rock Technical Director Chris Hoyle.
The open day was held at the Swindon-based distributor's showroom on the 10th December, where representatives from brands such as Jerzees, Kustom Kit, Gildan, Mantis and Regatta were present to display styles for new and existing customers. Decorating demonstrations were also held by transfer specialists Xpres, textile transfer manufacturer Jester Prints and embroidery distributor GS UK.
Visitors were also able to order copies of the new UKL brochure, which is available with a choice of three different covers, with blank versions also offered.
