The Mantis Menswear Collection brings men an alternative to the standard “tee, polo, sweat” unisex basic widely found in the market, says Shadi Jian-Zibaee, head of product development. “We know that men generally opt for a look that is more understated than most women, but we don’t believe that they have to put up with boring basics,” she explains. “We focus on the detail, which is very important to the discerning male customer. For example, the cut and fit of Mantis Menswear is always designed to flatter the wearer, be it a fitted tee, relaxed cut top or high performance activewear.We also provide design details such as subtle tone-on-tone stitching, contrast inner twill tapes and the best quality YKK zippers. Fabrics are always soft to touch, finely knit and perform well wash after wash.”

The Mantis Men’s range includes a number of designs, ranging from the perennial favourites M2 and M4 Men’s Summer Round neck Tee and Summer V-Tee in 100% combed cotton interlock, to the more contemporary M200 Mens Stretch360 Tee made from 95/5 Cotton/Elastane Stretch360 Jersey with tonal coverstitching.

Fashion styles include Layered Tops, Baseball Tops, and the M25 Trophy Collar Top – buttonless collared top made from combed cotton jersey. Mantis World’s attention to detail is exemplified by the M46 Saddle Shoulder Top – a stylish long sleeve top featuring narrow neck rib and a curved “saddle” seam at the shoulder giving an attractive look and flattering fit for the wearer.

New for 2007 is the M58 Men’s Polo Shirt made from 95/5 Cotton/Elastane Pique. The contrasting sporty look is seen again in the lightweight summer M31 Raglan Jacket and the M42 Sports Stripe Top.
