New innovations and technology

SAI

P&P LIVE! is the premier annual shopping window for everything in the decoration business. Visitors to AJS Embroidery Services (stand K20) can again expect to see new innovations and technology.

The latest innovation this year is the super compact industrial embroidery machine the SAI (Japanese for colourful).

The SAI is everything you would expect from a Tajima machine but in a compact and light body with the added benefit of six top quality on-board fonts making it the ideal machine for mobile or counter top personalisation customers. Even those new to the art of embroidery will quickly pick up on the easy operation of the SAI using the touch panel to prepare the machine to embroider.

The overall size of the SAI machine does not in any way impact on its quality, but continues to uphold the professional standard of finish expected from the Tajima brand. Having the capacity of eight colours, it can complete 800 stitches per minute and maintain this high speed during stitching, offering the finest in production power. With a structure that inherits the high performance of industrial embroidery machines, fine lines and wide areas can also be beautifully embroidered.

The SAI comes complete with its very own lettering and editing software Tajima Writer, the connection of SAI to a computer using a network will allow Writer to send the embroidery data directly to the machine.

Show premier

Also premiering at the 2018 show from Pulse MicroSystems will be the new colourising app which will proceed to eliminate the age old dilemma met by all customers of ‘which colours for which design’. Simply scan a barcode with your mobile device and from a database the app will tell you what colours you have on your machine and the ones you need to put on. Once correct colours are on the machine the job is accepted and you can simply press go as the design has all data needed to start straight away such as start position (no need to trace) colours (no manual input) speeds (pre-set to run perfectly) and finally production notes post and pre-production to give notes to the operator about the job such as use three backings as shirt is thin or this is a right not left breast logo etc. to stop any kind of mistakes happening and finally all production statistics from your Tajima machines can be printed into an excel in seconds for analysis.

What AJS like most about P&P LIVE! is the opportunity to promote new products, new technology and give in depth demonstrations to a live audience. During the show AJS is one of the few companies that runs machines from opening to closing not just when customers are there.

The show always gives the team great feedback from its visitors and the compliments received during and after the show are a great testimonial to AJS’ products and valued staff.

For embroiderers in particular, AJS is always a must visit stand at P&P LIVE! as AJS and Tajima are always at the forefront of design and technology from where you can see developments such as the unique head grouping on AR machines, the likes of which are allowing the way in which embroiderers work enabling them to become ultimately more streamlined and profitable.
