New heat press options from TheMagicTouch

Hobstar

With the growing demand for personalisation at an all-time high TheMagicTouch has introduced two new heat press options for both ends of the garment and textile decoration spectrum.

For the first time, a new clam style A4 heat transfer press is now available for those looking to gain entry-level status in the business while at the same keeping within a budget. The Hobstar press with its A4 platen is compatible with all transfer papers from TheMagicTouch and also suitable for most sublimation platen based print applications. The Hobstar press is compact, light and easy to re-position for mobile events or retail positioning.

Jim Nicol, managing director, said: “The introduction of the Hobstar press is only to complrment the new entry level printers and plotters now available allowing many to enjoy and grow into the personalisation market without any financial risk.”

Insta 256Plus

In addition to the Hobstar, the company introduces at the other end of the scale for those already into professional garment decoration production the new Insta 256Plus manual swing-away heat press machine with 16x20in (40x50cm) platen. The new Quick-Change platens allow you to quickly swap your lower platen with any of Insta’s new accessory platens such as for sleeves and bags. The quick-change feature also allows you to quickly rotate the lower platen in a matter of seconds to suit your applications.

The Insta 256Plus has been meticulous crafted to accomplish and evenly distribute high pressure throughout the entire platen. Its cast-in tubular heating element heats the metal from within for a consistent and long-lasting heat. The Insta 256Plus is made from a combination of materials, making it lightweight without sacrificing the strength and durability for which Insta machines are known.

Also featuring easy pressure adjustment for printing thicker substrates up to 1.375 thickness (gap opening is 2.75in).

Both models will be on display at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! in January 2018.
