Mascot is official supplier for Audi in Formula E

When the fourth season of Formula E earlier this, Mascot was announced as the official supplier to Audi’s factory-backed team.

Mascot will support AudiSport ABT Schaeffler with clothing apparel for mechanics and pit personnel. Head of Audi Motorsports, Dieter Gass, said: “Mascot is an award winning company in its field – as such, it fits perfectly with the winning culture at Audi Sport. We are looking forward to working with MASCOT for our team apparel needs for this upcoming racing season.”

Mascot’s managing director, Michael Grosbøl, added: “Audi Sport has extremely high demands for the quality of its products in terms of performance, durability, precision, security and design. Therefore it is a great honour for us to be chosen as an official supplier for the Audi Formula E team.”

The season started on December 2 in Hong Kong. Formula E serves as a competitive platform for global car manufacturers and mobility providers to test and develop road-relevant technologies and therefore it acts as a catalyst, helping to refine the design of electric vehicles and improve the driving experience for everyday road car users all over the world.

Mr Grosbøl added: “We get to experience Mascot’s workwear under extreme conditions when the mechanics have to perform in the pit in a tenth of a second in all temperatures and surroundings. Audi Sport’s pioneering technologies on the racetrack have set the standard through the years, and we look forward to following the newly developed Audi e-tron FE04 through this exciting racing series that reaches to the future and demonstrates the potential for more sustainable mobility with its innovative, electric technology.”

Consisting of 10 teams and 20 drivers, Formula E delivers world-class racing to 11 cities through 14 races over five continents, throughout the seven-month Championship season. Bringing racing rivalries to city streets, set against some of the most iconic skylines in the world.
