YES expansion demands new building

yes_imageYour Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) has seen steady increases in its business for the last 20 years but the acceleration of this over the last few has meant that the working environment was becoming strained with every nook and cranny being filled – a good indication to the directors that it was time to look around for bigger premises.

The search resulted in Sovereign House, a purpose designed 16,738sq ft two-storey building which will house the whole of the YES Ltd operation.

Roy Burton, managing director of YES Ltd, said: “We have known for the last few years that we would eventually run out of room so we started to look around. Finding the right building in the right location though was not easy and we had to get it right. After all, a building is not the type of thing you can return if it’s not right!

“Sovereign House will be perfect for us. The location still keeps us in the area, and so presents no problems for staff, whilst the increased size and space for all aspects of the business will create a better working environment for all. This is a very exciting prospect for the company as a whole and it makes me very proud that we have all achieved such a major step forward in the company’s history.”

The building has been completely gutted and is currently being refitted to bespoke standards creating specialized areas for administration, sales, technical and stores. This will mark a distinct change in the way the company works. For the last few years YES Ltd has contended with being spread across three separate buildings. Of course this never affected the excellent service the company is well known for but it did make harder work for the staff to work as a combined unit. Sovereign House puts everyone in a single location thus improving communication and efficiency. This investment is a major step for YES Ltd and is one that will benefit all concerned including, of course, the company’s most important asset, its customers.

“We base the level of our success on the level of success of our global customers and having good quality premises that allows for our continued growth is an important factor. From our great new premises we will offer customer support, technical assistance, full demonstration facilities, not forgetting machine manufacturing for export at a purpose-built facility to assist all potential and existing clients,” continues Roy.

The move is set to take place within the next few weeks and is being planned so as to create the least disruption not only to YES Ltd but also to all its customers.
