The managing director of Resolute DTG announced this month that the company has launched a live video support system to help those in the industry.

Colin Marsh said: “We have always been very keen to offer the best support in the industry, keeping up with technology is always high on the Resolute radar.

“A recent investment to support a different project has also been utilised in the textile and food printing department. The state-of-the art-equipment offers live video support directly through the Resolute RIP software to assist with technical support questions or additional training required. The live engineer’s view allows a detailed explanation to not only be delivered to the customer quickly but it actually shows the answer in real time streaming video.”

The live video support system is similar to those used in many high end car garages. It not only saves time and money, but it allows Resolute’s engineers to see firsthand exactly what the problem is and how to address it.

The live stream support will be included in all manufacturer’s warranties and Resolute’s own extended warranties, which are new for 2015.
