New ink enables high quality and productivity for industrial-scale production

Kiian Digital’s existing portfolio of sublimation inks now includes the recently launched K-One ink for the Kyocera ink-jet print-head

This new ink enables high quality and productivity for industrial-scale production.

The new portfolio features innovative additional colours that extend the gamut for sublimation on a wide range of textiles and graphics, including sportswear, swimwear, snow gear and sports equipment.

The K-One product, launched at InPrint 2014, provides new possibilities for Kiian customers as Kiian broadens its digital textile ink range within the industrial sector to suit high productivity and manufacturing quality, essential for industrial level textile print production.

It enables better quality, faster productivity, vivid colours, superior black outlining and excellent fastness on a wide range of textiles. Moreover, it doesn’t need any risk labelling and it has been thoroughly tested at several sites across the globe. All these characteristics make the K-One product a very compelling option for industrial level production.”

As well as producing very high quality colour definition and the ability to print onto lower cost papers, Kiian’s Digistar range of inks are environmentally friendly – a blend of qualities which are incredibly important for sublimation apparel printing.

The Digistar Gen-R ink formulation, compatible with Ricoh piezo-electric print-heads, has been developed specifically for sublimation transfer printing onto synthetic fabrics and blended fibres with a minimum of 80% polyester. For Epson print-heads, the Digistar High-Pro also enables transfer printing onto synthetic fabrics and pre-treated rigid substrates. It operates with light and uncoated paper (50-60gsm) for transfer printing and is compatible with all generation DX print heads.
