Just in time for autumn, the Los Angeles-based manufacturer and retailer has introduced an exciting twist on the traditional pullover sweatshirt. Inspired by classic fleece pieces of the 80s and 90s, American Apparel’s 5336 California Fleece Cropped Sweatshirt is made from soft and cosy 244gsm, 100% combed cotton fleece and features drop shoulder sleeves, an oversized fit and cropped length. The 5336 is available in one size in the colours black, heather grey, navy, red and white.
More cool weather must-haves include the F499 Unisex Flex Fleece Club Jacket and HVT401 Unisex Heavy Terry Club Jacket. The F499 is a classic, understated club jacket with a sleek monochrome look, while the HVT401 has iconic varsity-style stripes on the cuffs and waistband. Both jackets are unisex and ideal for screen printing, embroidery, and applique.
The F499 is made from 278gsm, 50/50 poly-cotton flex fleece and is available in black, cranberry, dark heather grey, forest, navy and white in sizes XXS-2XL. The HVT401 is constructed from a 441gsm heavy terry fleece (71% ring-spun combed cotton/29% polyester) and comes in black, maroon, red, royal and zinc in sizes XXS-2XL.
