DTG Digital is well known for its direct to garment printers with over 8,000 installations to date. In fact there are more companies that rely on DTG Digital than any other brand globally. Now the legacy continues with the news that the M2 model will now be shipped throughout Europe with the latest P30i inks included as standard. So what possible difference could this make?
This ground-breaking new ink is supplied by Impression Technology Europe (ITE) and Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) and was developed with the M series machines in mind. As with the machines the ink has been developed to bridge markets and fabric types and so expand the viability and profitability of the machine. Many of you will already know that the M series machines were developed to bridge the small and bulk order markets. The one thing the machine could not do was to work across fabric types. This was something that only the ink could do but it was important that it did not affect the machines high productivity. The P30i ink has a lower viscosity than other inks which, when combined with a lower surface tension, enable continuous repeat printing with no hold ups. There is also less air in the ink when it is delivered to the nozzles so enabling continuous printing without the maintenance levels seen with other products. When you add in the fact that P30i uses a superior colour pigment so that it does not fade during curing (something that is common with most inks used in this process) you start to see what a winning combination this is.
So, by combining the M2 with P30i as standard, ITE and YES Ltd are offering you a competitively priced machine that is just as at home printing either small or bulk orders whether they be made of 100% cotton, 100% polyester or a 50/50 blend. Taking all of this into consideration you have to ask ‘Can you really afford not to look at this?’
