Discover the latest garment decoration equipment at P&P LIVE!

Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2018 is on track to be the biggest show to date, with over 150 stands and more than 20 new exhibitors providing inspiration and solutions for visitors. Tony Gardner, event director, says: “The show is now recognised as an annual launch pad for new equipment and once again the event will not disappoint in this regard. With over 40 stands featuring decoration kit and many first showings, visitors will be able to witness the latest technology in action and see ways to improve garment decoration production.”

Several new embroidery products will debut at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2018. Midwest Machinery (stand F70) is a sole agent for Happy Japan with more than 30 years’ experience in delivering embroidery equipment. The company will be displaying the new range of Type 3 embroidery machines, including the recently launched 12 head. There will also be a selection of other equipment on show, such as a new high-speed 15 colour single head machine and a new hot tip appliqué cutter.

ETC Supplies (stand P27) will be showcasing the best-selling magnetic Mighty Hoops, Durkee EZ Framing device and a range of new embroidery frames, framing tables and tools to keep machinery in its best condition. The embroidery sector will also feature products from Madeira (stand E62) and the new Brother PR series from GS UK (stand B55).

Over on stand H22, SWF Embroidery Machines (YES Ltd) will be showcasing and demonstrating the new KS series, the fastest embroidery machine on the market. Michelle Reece, marketing manager at YES Ltd explains: “We are twice as excited about this year’s show as we will be exhibiting our wide range of products on two facing stands, with SWF, Ricoma and Spangle on stand H22. This will enable us to separate our brands and allow visitors to focus on their specific industry with our sales and technical team on board to offer support and advice.”

Visitors will be able to see the range of DTG products on display, including live demonstrations of the new GTX DTG printer from Brother UK which will run on both the GS UK stand (B55) and the MHM Direct GB stand (H50). Designed to make life easier for garment decorators, this new DTG printer eliminates the need for regular maintenance.

Meanwhile, on Resolute’s DTG stand (B20), visitors will be able to witness the new R-Jet5i in action. The printer’s predecessor, the R-Jet5, has sold over a thousand units across the UK and Europe, so this brand new and improved model will wow visitors with a modern print engine.

Attendees on the search for new transfer printing machinery will find an extensive range of products at the show. InnoPrinter Transfer Technology (stand K62) is returning to exhibit its alternative to traditional print methods: the InnoPrinter.

On stand B60, Ghost White Toner will demonstrate its toner transfer solution. By replacing the black toner cartridge with the Ghost White Toner, every laser printer can be turned into a white toner printer. David M. Kandelhardt, CEO and founder, gives an insight into what visitors can expect: “We will show the most affordable no weeding transfer solution for dark garments in the market. By replacing the black toner cartridge in a regular laser printer with a Ghost White Toner, customers can start with dark garment decoration at the lowest investment point ever.”

Over on Grafityp UK’s stand (H40), the company will be showcasing the brand new OKI PRO8432WT. Grafityp UK’s commercial director and UK managing director Neil Stevenson explains: “We look forward to showing off our new printer at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2018. The OKI PRO8432WT removes the design barriers presented by traditional CMYK printing processes. Printing solid white onto a wide variety of media, it can be used in combination with transfer media to create vibrant print on dark backgrounds, dark coloured garments and other hard surfaces.”

There are also several new heat presses and dryers being launched at the event, including the new Digicure from Adelco (stand J60), Panthers dryers from Dave Roper (stand A72) and the Hobstar and Insta 256Plus from TheMagicTouch (G60). Jim Nicol, managing director of TheMagicTouch comments: “In 2018 we have some great new products and applications planned including new heat presses, new printers and indeed new transfer papers.”

For 2018, Printwear & Promotion LIVE! has moved to the bigger Halls 17 and 18 at the NEC in Birmingham and will take place from Sunday 21 January to Tuesday 23 January. Save the dates!
