Dimensions provides stylish solutions to world’s leading airlines

Corporatewear supplier Dimensions delivers a fully managed service for the bespoke supply of both above the wing and below the wing members of aviation staff for airlines including British Airways and Flybe.

With over 45,000 wearers, British Airways is one of Dimensions’ key clients. The two organisations first partnered in 2014 and recently worked on the supply of the uniforms for the British Airways i360 workforce, which opened in Brighton last year.

As part of its partnership with British Airways, Dimensions had onsite presence at some of the world’s largest airports, including London Heathrow and Gatwick, where the Dimensions’ British Airways Uniform Services team works.

The British Airways project team at Dimensions has over 250 years’ experience between them, which has enabled them to develop a bespoke service package which ensures that BA staff have a uniform that projects the professional image that the British Airways brand demands.

Flybe is Europe’s largest regional airline carrier. The airline worked exclusively with Dimensions to create its most recent uniform, transforming the company’s look from a bold red to the new Flybe brand colour of purple. Flybe staff contributed ideas to the design of their tailored uniform, but the final design and full service provision was managed by a specialist project team at Dimensions.

The corporatewear provider states that it appreciates the significance of corporate image within a branded environment such as airlines, but also realises the importance of listening to wearers’ views to encourage staff engagement and inspire a productive workforce for its clients.

Dimensions’ director of client management, Phil Harland, said: “Dimensions has a great deal of experience in the aviation sector and we understand what needs to happen in order to meet our clients’ needs.  The challenge within the aviation sector is to clothe individuals with cutting-edge designer suiting garments, whilst ensuring the personal protective equipment performs in some of the harshest environments, and always portrays a coordinated brand image.

“Our industry leading design team and our sourcing specialists ensure that we are able to take a diverse product requirement and translate it into some of the world’s strongest brand images. Being able to provide worldwide garment supply to the end wearer, as well as industry leading service centres really makes Dimensions the partner of choice in this sector”.
