On October 1, Colenso celebrated 30 years of working in the screen printing industry.
The whole team celebrated in style and toasted to all their loyal customers and suppliers, who have supported the company’s 30 year growth.
Candles were blown out on the stunning birthday cake (made by a member of the sales team) and best wishes from across the globe were received, for continued health and prosperity to all those in Colenso’s screen printing family.
Colenso was founded 30 years ago in the North West of England by Bruce and Shirley Colenso, who started out as specialists in Swiss Sefar mesh and Foteco stencil products.
The company’s original expertise came from the graphic, industrial glass and ceramic transfer industries, where over 15 colours per print is common practise. This kind of detail required very precise stable mesh, with high tensions and stencils with very fine detail, all of which had to be repeatable to provide incredible colour accuracy.
The background of such precision screen printing, enables the national technical team at Colenso (the exclusive distributors of Wilflex plastisols) to continue to innovate and educate today’s screen printers to achieve their potential. As more and more T shirt printers wish to learn how to achieve better detail, softer prints and become more efficient print shops, with Colenso’s help they are now achieving their goals and increasing their profitably.
