Calendar creator, Allan+Bertram, has reported a surge in sales for its 2017 range – with orders for some titles more than 20% up on last year.

Managing director, Andrew Bennett, said: “Despite the trend for all things digital, demand for our high quality corporate calendars has steadily increased over the past few years as businesses return to more traditional methods to engage with their customers.

“These promising figures for our 2017 range prove that branded business-to-business calendars still have value as part of a company’s marketing strategy and, unlike other promotional items, can guarantee your name is seen by your clients and key prospects 365 days a year.”

According to statistics from PPAI, 79% of people say they enjoy receiving a complementary calendar, and 94% say they would keep one.

The increased demand for Allan+Bertram calendars has resulted in the Hertfordshire-based firm issuing its earliest-ever low stock warning. Some 88% of 2017 sales so far have been repeat orders.

Several calendar titles have already sold out, including the Swarez Collection desk calendar, which is a new addition for 2017.

Featuring the work of British contemporary painter Swarez, and launched in April to mark World Art Day, it has proved so popular that Allan+Bertram is printing additional limited stock to make more available.
