The incredible speed and quality is made possible by the industrial stainless-steel Ricoh print heads the Ri 3000 and Ri 6000 use. These are normally found in much larger equipment, proof Ricoh has really gone to town on making the Ri range a force to be reckoned with. One clear benefit to the industrial print heads is they can jet high viscosity ink. This means a much thinner layer of ink is needed to obtain a high quality print. This means less ink used bringing the cost down to below other high end DTG printers, the thin layer of ink also produces an image incredibly soft and practically undetectable to touch.
The UK launch is kicked off with a massive trade in offer open to all, any DTG printer, old, slow or broken, it doesn’t matter. If it’s a DTG printer it is worth £6,000 against the Ri 6000 and £3,000 against the Ri 3000 until the end of July 2018. As you can imagine this is a very popular promotion and the stock is limited, orders are processed on a first come first served basis.
