Polyprint DTG printers
Polyprint launches three brand new direct to garment printers to give customers a wider choice on print size and product cost.
Texjet Shortee is the smallest one but still prints up to 32x45cm which is A3+. The Shortee is a very compact printer and very competitive in price. It has a selection of four different sized platens including a sleeve platen, small, medium and large. The large one also accommodates a polo shirt. It comes with the excellent Polyprint V7 rip which eleviates the need for programs like Photo Shop.
Texjet Echo is the new version of the very popular Texjet Plus Advanced. It has new styling, new magnetic platen system with a choice of eight sizes, touch screen controls and new optimised linear guide system for smoother control of the bed movement. It comes standard with its excellent print quality and ease of use. It has a maximum print area of 42x60cm.
Texjet More is very similar to the Texjet Echo but with a much larger print area of 42x95cm. It has a selection of another six different sizes and can be used with a two pallet system.
Screen print and DTG mix
This unique system of printing the white base on a screen print unit and the colour on the Texjet Plus is now well established and working well within some large screen print companies. See www.amayauk.com for more details.
OKI A3 white toner printer and Forever transfer paper
Amaya has recently introduced the new OKI A3 PRO9420WT white toner printer. This is a great partner for Forever’s (no weed) transfer paper. With this printer you can print large designs on to dark garments using the Forever A3 transfer paper. With the new A3 XL Forever paper you can print even larger, up to 31.75×48.26cm which is 22% larger than the standard A3.
With Forever you have many different papers for lots of different applications. The most popular one is the Forever Laser Dark (no cut), for full colour printing on to dark shirts.
Forever Flex Soft and a standard black laser printer
With Flex Soft you can print details single colour designs on a basic black laser printer. All you need is a heat press and you’re ready to start printing high quality designs on to dark or any colour garments. This is the ultimate alternative to vinyl garment film. Melco modular embroidery machines
Sales of the Melco EMT16 modular embroidery system broke all records last year.
More and more embroiderers are realising that the Melco modular system drastically improves their efficiency and production.
A big advantage of this system is that you can add on more production as you need it or split your production up to suit your ever-changing orders. Another benefit is that because the operating software is PC driven, any new advancements can be fed straight into the embroidery machine’s brain, keeping it well in front of any of its rivals. Sef garment film and vinyl
Amaya is offering a full range of Sef garment films for all types of materials.
Sef’s new Flexcut X4 has fast become a favourite for printing on to cotton and polyester. It gives you very fast weeding, a tacky liner give you very fine cutting and only a four second transfer time. Another popular product is Maxxflex which is a high quality multi-layered polyurathane film which is PVC free and produced without solvents. It has a sticky liner, good covering power, high elasticity and excellent weeding characteristics.
Other products available are Velcut Flock, Nylon and Metalflex. The Velcut and Metalflew will give you an extra dimention to you garment decoration.
Amaya also supplies a great range of all the new heat presses from Stahls and Schulze together with the latest Graphtec cutters.
